Emergency lighting systems must be installed in all buildings in order to meet building code compliance as well as the safety of the buildings’ future occupants. Electronic ballasts from KK-Lite are essential for any emergency lighting system to work quickly and effectively. Our fluorescent emergency ballasts operate in conjunction with the fixture's AC ballast and provide instant emergency lighting when normal power fails thereby allowing the same fixture to be used during normal and emergency operation. In the event of a power failure our electric ballasts switch to emergency mode and can operate up to two fluorescent lamps for at least 90 minutes. Electronic ballasts can be fit to existing fluorescent fixtures such as industrial lighting, troffers, wraparounds, channels, decorative ceiling and wall fluorescents.
